Club Member, Dave Behennah is due to cycle from John O’ Groats to Lands End as part of the Club’s Centenary celebrations in order to raise funds. Any money raised will be shared between the Captains’ Charity and the Junior Academy project.
Dave envisages riding for 12 days between the end of July and the beginning of August and aims to be back before Golf Week. Our professional, Tony Pitts and others have expressed an interest to ride on the last day from our Golf Club to Lands End, raising further funds through sponsorship.
Dave’s journey will be reported on the Club’s Website so that we can all keep an eye on his progress and give him a good final send off on his last day of cycling down to Lands End.
Members will be kept up to date on the Centenary notice board and on the website of the final preparations and we wish Dave the best of luck on his journey.
Sponsorship forms will be available from the Secretary’s office and in the Pro shop.
