8 juniors form St Austell Golf Club showed their class yesterday as they competed in the inaugural Cornwall Golf Union U12 9 Hole Mini Tour.
All the golfers either played to their handicaps or played under it in the breezy conditions on the infamous Holywell Course.
Hugo Watson came third in the boys category and won the putting competition. Hannah McGrath smashed the Girls competition with an amazing 28 points with Maddie Watson coming second with 18 points.
Remarkably even with tremendous scores, Dan Faulkner, Jack Ingram and Monty Smith just missed out on prizes.
