Andy Mellor, our Secretary over the last four years has accepted a new position and will be leaving the Golf Club towards the end of June. I should like to personally thank Andy for all the sterling work that he has carried out at the Club during his time with us and for his very considerable support during my time as Vice Captain and Captain.
A small working group from the committee has been set up to manage the process of finding a new Secretary and will be meeting next week to finalise a job role and advertisement. As soon as these have been agreed an advertisement will appear on the website, the club notice board and externally as appropriate.
We wish Andy all the very best of luck for the future.
