Seniors Section
The Seniors' Section of the club was established in 1985 and is open to all male members over the age of 60
The group has gone from strength to strength and now has a very full golfing calendar in its own right, with weekly competitions and some 30 friendly matches throughout the year.
The Seniors organizer/secretary also has a seat on the Management Committee and the principal competitions played by the Seniors' Section are:
- Heminsley Vase – a medal competition
- Burton Tankards – stableford.
- Coombes Decanter
- Championship Cups – 36 holes medal
- Seniors Open – Better ball.
- Finally, an annual match against the Ladies Section followed by a meal.This fixture generates great rivalry and great interest in the outcome.
