Yet another lovely day blessed our juniors as they made the short journey to The Carlyon Bay Junior Open.
The course was in truly magnificent condition, the wind was at time breezy, and it was a warm day.
In the gross competition, our very own Bradley shot a magnificent 79 (65) to come second. In the nett competition, Ollie shot level par just failing to catch Zac who carded a very good 71 and took first place.
The stableford competition also produced prizes for St Austell with Hugo coming in with 38 points, to secure 3rd place. Alec Nile (we are sharing him with Carlyon Bay) came 2nd with 40 points.
However, it was the girls competition that yielded us our winner, with Maddie claiming 1st place in with a terrific 40 points.
Whilst we did quite well as a section, congratulations should go to all the juniors who took part. There was a terrific atmosphere and it was nice to see so many others come in with great scores.
